02The premise

Most syrups behind the counter are underwhelming — fake, lacking complexity. We started Brix to fix the one ingredient everyone tastes and no one respects.

The whole range is free from artificial flavoring and coloring. Real fruit, real spice, real botanicals — reduced slowly, in Cairo.

When flavours collide03 / 13
01

Flavours that collide.

Watermelon into basil, ginger into lime — a range built to be mixed, layered and played with behind the bar.

02

Made from the real thing.

Whole fruit, fresh herbs, toasted spice — pressed and steeped by hand. Never a powder pretending to be a flavour.

03

Reduced to its loudest.

Cooked low and slow, in small batches, until the flavour is dense enough to cut clean through milk, ice and a double shot.

04

Nothing artificial.

No artificial flavours. No artificial colours. No additives doing the work. What it tastes of is exactly what went in.

05

Crafted in Cairo.

Syrups, concentrates, sauces and tinctures — small-batch, for the way this city actually drinks.

04The range

Four families, one standard.

Brix is no longer only a syrup collection. The range now runs from the bottles on your back bar to the drops that finish a signature drink.

Syrups & Concentrates

The heart of the range. Real fruit, fresh herbs and toasted spice, reduced slowly in small batches until the flavour is dense enough to cut clean through milk, ice and a double shot.

Aromatic Tinctures

Concentrated aromatics, measured in drops. They lift, sharpen and perfume a drink without adding sweetness, colour or volume — the finishing move on a signature menu.

08How we work

From first taste to your weekly route.

Brix is wholesale-first, and the process is deliberately straightforward. Five steps, no surprises.

  1. Explore the range

Understand the four families and work out what is actually relevant to your menu. We would rather send you three products that fit than a catalogue of everything.

  2. Request samples or open an account

Tell us what you are pouring and confirm you are enquiring on behalf of a business. Samples come first for most new accounts.

  3. Register the company

New clients provide the details below. We can still support legitimate new businesses whose papers are being completed, particularly for initial sampling.

    • Company name
    • Address
    • Google Maps location pin
    • Tax ID
    • Commercial Registration
    • Contact person’s name
    • Contact person’s number
  4. Confirm the order

Orders are placed and confirmed through WhatsApp with your account contact, so there is a written record of every line you ordered.

  5. Production and delivery

Most products are produced against confirmed orders. Standard production normally takes four to five business days. Delivery then follows the regular weekly route for your area.

Lead times are production only — delivery is scheduled on top, by area. Your account contact confirms both before an order is finalised.

09Custom development

A flavour that is yours alone.

The part of Brix that does not appear in any catalogue. If a signature drink needs something that does not exist yet, we build it with you — from the first brief to a bottle on your weekly delivery.

Start a development brief
  1. Brief

We start from the drink you are trying to build, not a form. What it has to do on your menu, at your volume, at your price.

  2. Formulate

Yassine builds it in the lab against your brief — real ingredients, no artificial flavour or colour, adjusted until it behaves the way you need it to.

  3. Sample & adjust

You pour it in your own bar, with your own beans, milk and ice. We iterate on what you actually taste, not what the spec sheet says.

  4. Produce

Signed off, it joins your standing order — produced to the same small-batch standard as the rest of the range, on your regular route.

10The founders

Born in the lab, kitchen, café and bar.

“Brix was created from Sally’s and my collective and mutual desire for creation and innovation in the lab, kitchen, cafe, and bar.”
— Yassine Shokeir, co-founder
Yassine ShokeirFood chemistry in Germany, then formal culinary training in France and an education in hospitality management and culinary arts. Time in Michelin-starred restaurants, followed by culinary R&D and commercial food and beverage formulation. He has built products through manufacturing and scaled food and beverage brands — which is why a Brix flavour has to work in the lab, on the line and behind your bar, not just in a tasting.
Sally MartinezMore than a decade in specialty coffee and beverage across North America, North Africa and the Middle East — sourcing, menu development, team training, supply chain, business development and beverage consulting. She has run the operations Brix now supplies, so the range is built around what a café actually needs to pour consistently, week after week.

Our Chai Concentrate started with a Toronto pastry chef and has been refined for Egyptian palates over more than ten years.

12Questions

The things everyone asks.

The short answers are here. The rest — delivery, storage, payment terms, quality — live on the full FAQ.

Read the full FAQ
Who does Brix sell to?

Brix is wholesale-only. We supply cafés, restaurants, bakeries, catering companies and drink programmes — businesses buying to serve or resell, not individual customers.

Can I taste before I commit?

Yes. Samples are the normal first step. Tell us what is on your menu and we will put together a set that is actually relevant to it rather than a box of everything.

Is everything available all year round?

Most of our range is available throughout the year. Selected fruit and herb products are seasonal or subject to availability — we will tell you what is running before you build a menu around it.

How are orders placed?

Orders are placed and confirmed over WhatsApp with your account contact, once your company is registered with us.

How long does production take?

Standard production normally takes four to five business days. Delivery is then scheduled according to the regular route for your area.

Can you make something exclusive to us?

Yes. Bespoke development is a real part of what we do — a flavour built for your menu, developed with you, and produced to the same standard as the rest of the range.
